We recommend to weed by hand once the bed is established; Beds cleaned, weeded, re-mulched, bed edged, and shrubs trimmed on a once a month schedule to maintain a pristine look. It can be done very quickly when you stay on top of it. Whoever mows or weed eats should not shoot grass/debris into beds or leave it there to accumulate which can encourage weed growth. Alternatively, initially a weed eater can be used to clean out the weeds. Another alternative is selective or non-selective herbicide to control and prevent weeds.
