After mowing season when leaves have completed their drop we mow on a less frequent basis such as every 2-3 weeks. Leaves can then be gathered and remnant grass trimmed until the end of Dec. Otherwise, it can be done as a one-time leaf removal or done on a schedule of multiple times (2-4 times).
